Meet The Team

Luke is the owner of LW Sport. He has a BSc in Sports coaching as well as an FA Level 1 qualification, and has been leading football sessions for children since he was 15. Luke has worked for the likes of Chelsea FC and Hampshire FA as well as having gained a holistic coaching philosophy from his time working in numerous school settings. "If I had to describe myself in 3 words it would be enthusiastic, driven and enthusiastic".  Luke has high standards and since the start of his coaching journey, has managed to get 4 players into academics

Djamal is a hard working individual who prides himself on being firm but fair. Despite not being a footballer himself, Djamal has a superb way of coming up with game ideas and relaying these to the children. Djamal has gained his EE Playmaker qualification too, which helps him run sessions smoothly and in an engaging way. " What I like about working for LW Sport is that it is inclusive for all abilities and for any walk of life." Djamal is the heart beat of LW Sport and keeps things running when situations get tough.

I have recently started working with coach Luke and the team. I have started to attend the sessions which i have thoroughly enjoyed as i feel like i have made close connections with the children. I have completed my EE playmaking scheme which has really helped me develop my understanding of what coaching is about. I look forward to continue to work with the team and help more children continue to thrive at their football sessions and continue to help them develop their football skills.
